Comment Warning – Support Page

This page is provided for support issues for the Comment Warning WordPress plugin. If you have a support issue, please leave a comment below and I will try to address this as soon as possible.

If you want to leave a general comment, please do so on the Comment Warning – Comments Page. Do not leave them here, as they will be deleted.

Why have I separated Comments and Support Issues from the main plugin page?
Two main reasons, both relating to the amount of comments this site gets:

  1. The support issues tend to get lost in the “nice plugin” comments. They deserve their own space.
  2. When you get almost 500 comments on one of your most important pages, it doesn’t do much for your PageRank.

  1. Here is the situation. When I go to my browesr (IE or Firefox) and put my website address in the address bar and hit enter, my website loads up no problem.

When I do a search for my website in google, I have no problem finding it. The problem happens when I click on the link to my website (on google search page). When I click on that link, my website loads up with this error message on the top of my homepage, Ok, I got a good one. Let’s see who can figure this one out. Here is the situation. 1. Hi Tim,

I’ll have a look at this – do you have a link to the Google search page so I can click the link and see exactly what happens? That would help me track it down quicker. Thanks.

      1. Stephen,

        Here is the google link,http://www.google.com/search?q=onlineguitarvideo&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

        website:onlineguitarvideo.com

I get this error message with firefox and IE,
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/vandy911/public_html/onlineguitarvideo.com/wp-content/plugins/comment-warning/comment-warning.php on line 83

        1. Hi Tim,

Sorry it’s taken me so long to look into this – it’s only a part time thing and real life has been very busy lately.

I think you’ve probably taken Comment Warning down (understandable in the circumstances) as I can’t see the error.

Hwoever, I’ve looked into it from the code perspective and it seems to me that the problem is caused by the Triggers option field being formatted incorrectly. You can fix this by choosing the Reset Setting button in the Comment Warning setting page.

Note: You’ll lose any changes to the message as well, so please back that up first.

Let me know if that doesn’t work.
