Greasemonkey Script – Google Numbered Search Results

Description

Google Numbered Search Results is a Greasemonkey script that numbers the search results pages on the Google search engine.

There are other scripts out there which do the same thing, but none of them work with the new AJAX powered search results being introduced by Google. This script does – well actually it doesn’t, it just forces the old search to be used, but the user won’t notice any problem, it will just work for them.

  1. thanks for your script but i would like to know what does it do it only numbers or we can click the number to access the 5 th link on the page or so with using the mouse to click the fifth result

    1. Hi Sunderqaz,

It only adds a number before each item in the list Google returns. You still have to click the link for the item (which will be right next to the number).
