My name is Stephen Cronin and I have worked in the software industry in Australia, UK and USA for 13 years.

I have held senior positions including those of General Manager, Business Manager, International Product Manager and have also worked as web developer, project manager, trainer and support technician.

I am currently living in China with my family. My ‘day job’ is teaching ICT, whilst my nights are spent blogging, writing WordPress plugins and developing websites.

About More Than Scratch The Surface

The original plan for More Than Scratch The Surface was to document the things I learnt while working on a couple websites I was planning.

The reality was that the websites were put on hold while I threw myself into blogging. Then I started developing WordPress plugins – the websites are still on hold, but I have quite a few more plugins in the works!

The result is that this blog is mostly about blogging and WordPress, rather than web development.
