Finished off Comment Warning, a #WordPress plugin for #Dofollow blogs http://bit.ly/k0ESJ [#]

Two upgrades to Comment Warning already, adding new functionality (link to comments made by warned commentators, filter email notifications) [#]

wp.me is cool but argument that it’ll exist as long as wordpress.com is flawed. If wordpress.com dies you’re not going to export your data? [#]
twitter (feed #2)
@wptavern If wordpress.com dies I’ll export my content to somewhere else. Wp.me links will still be in the content, but wp.me will be dead. [#]
twitter (feed #2)
@wptavern but then I guess if I used something else (eg bit.ly) they’d still point to my wordpress.com site, so maybe the argument is valid [#]
twitter (feed #2)
@wptavern I just heard the argument that wp.me and wordpress.com live and die together. Of course, I can’t see either dying anytime soon! [#]

@KIntheHouse Thanks K – was just driven to frustration. But then once I had the idea, it was a lot of fun writing it… [#]

#WordPress 2.8.* deletes files that you add to plugin folders – I had a demo plugin in the Comment Warning folder and it kept being deleted [#]

@wordcast re pinging issue: Harry McCracken said if he’s 30 minutes late, it’s not worth publishing. Publish on time + ping late = no good [#]
twitter (feed #2)
@wordcast without the ping it may take longer to get indexed by Google and show up in the SERPs (and show in some other sources). [#]

@janeforshort @wptavern You may be interested in my new post on the choice of the term Trash – http://bit.ly/1k1DqN [#]
twitter (feed #2)
@janeforshort @wptavern Using Trash is not really a big deal, but just enough to get me writing :) http://bit.ly/1k1DqN [#]

RT: @perishable: what a big fat popularity contest the web has turned out to be. [#]
twitter (feed #2)
@janeforshort In Gmail the action is Delete which goes to Trash. Same in Yahoo Mail and Thunderbird. Hotmail and Outlook use Delete. [#]
twitter (feed #2)
@janeforshort I haven’t seen anyone use Trash as the action. But as I said, not a biggie, I’ll love WordPress anyway! [#]

cssglobe.com seems to be down. Get web servers default page saying no website at this address. @cssglobe – hope there’s no problem [#]

RT: @leesargent: My boss just advised me that he liked Aquaman because he’s got that superhero next door quality – respect or redicule?!? :P [#]

@AsianRamblings linked to your Zhong Shan post on one of my sites: http://bit.ly/u9lY4 Interesting to see the compass in your latest post. [#]

RT: @chriscoyier: The thing about web accessibility is that it’s always the RIGHT thing to do but (sometimes) not the profitable thing to do [#]
twitter (feed #2)
Agree totally with @chriscoyier about accessibility (see previous RT) [#]
